Governor Munya awarded trophies and Sh.1.4 million to Imenti North Youths

Governor Peter Munya has brought football lovers and fans to be self-sufficient and sustainability by issuing trophies and money for youths to establish own businesses.

The immediate former Council of Governors chairman said he has invested so much on talent identification and growth.

Governor Munya spoke to Imenti North youths at Kinoru Stadium where he gave Sh1.4 million to teams that won and those who participated in Governor Munya’s Cup and Governor’s business Challenge tournaments.

There is an on-going Governors cup tournament aimed to create wealth and generate economic and social cohesion within the nine sub counties of Meru

My Government's commitment to nurturing talent and supporting our youth is unwavering and will remain steadfast. I congratulate Gachanka FC for emerging the overall winners of the soccer challenge. Meru is today a sporting destination for this country, courtesy of Kinoru," he said.
