We are not hiring - Chief of Staff
Following complaints from the public with regard to a fraudulent recruitment drive into the proposed Meru Youth Service (MYS) by unscrupulous individuals, the Chief of Staff and Acting County Secretary Gideon Kimathi would wish to make the following assertions: 1. That the Meru County government is not currently conducting any recruitment drive into the MYS. 2. That in the event of any recruitment, the County Government does not solicit for any facilitation, incentive or bribes for purposes of employment or otherwise. 3. That any information with regards to vacancies in the Meru County government shall be channeled through the official county website and national dailies. 4. That the task force on the implementation of the MYS will be in place in fourteen days, with the first batch of recruits into the service expected in December. 5. That a supplementary budget estimate for the service is expected to be ready by this evening. Additionally, the County Government of Meru wishes to inform the public that save for the CECMs and COs, all other vacancies will be announced simultaneously once the ongoing audits are concluded.
