USAID KEA AND MERU COUNTY GOVERNMENT PARTNERSHIP MOU SIGNING

Governor Kiraitu Murungi has signed Momerandum of Understanding with USAID Kenya group led by Country manager Mark Andrew Meassick on collaborative working areas that spans from Health, Education and climate change mitigation.

Governor Kiraitu in his speech during the fete said county was also seeking partnership with USAID Kenya in the areas of Governance, Bongo conservation, Youth support program, more additional health support and Environmental conservation.

Mr. Meassick thanked the Governor for fostering good working relationship between the county and the USAID especially on Health.

Governor Kiraitu also led the USAID delegation to a guided tour to Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital, Comprehensive Care center that is supported by USAID and later visited the New Ward block under construction by the County Government of Meru.
