Uplifting And Improving Healthcare Delivery Across The County Health Facilities.

In a close-door meeting, Meru Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza today had a chance to engage with a delegation from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board, led by the Senior Inspector of Drugs, Julius Kaluai.
The meeting, centered around uplifting and improving healthcare delivery across the county health facilities, will see the Poisons Board go around and verify all medical practitioners in our public and private health facilities to weed out unregistered medical practitioners.
This comes after an impromptu check found two unregistered employees in one of our hospitals.
The move will be to safeguard the public from unrecognized or unregistered medical practitioners, expired medicines (some of which have been repacked and sold to unsuspecting members of the public), and unscrupulous medics soliciting money from the public in exchange for medicine illegally gotten from public facilities.
