The residents of Njota Muu in Kiagu Ward could not contain their joy after the Meru county Department of Water & Irrigation successfully sunk a borehole that will provide clean water to over 400 families in their village.

Another borehole that was sunk at Gacibine late last week has yielded a substantial water volume of 8, 000 cubic meters per hour. This will adequately sustain residential and agricultural activities in the said area as H.E Governor Kawira Mwangaza had promised.
