Under the leadership of H.E Governor Kawira Mwangaza, we have made significant strides in ensuring access to clean and safe water for our communities. With the drilling of 14 boreholes, we have been able to provide reliable and sustainable water sources to areas that were previously facing acute water scarcity. Additionally, we are proud to announce that two dams, Baisigiria and Laria, have been commissioned, further enhancing our water supply capacity.

We are grateful to Governor Kawira Mwangaza for her unwavering commitment to addressing the water crisis in Meru County. Her visionary leadership and dedication to service have been instrumental in making these projects a reality.

We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of our CECM for water, irrigation, environment, and climate change, Eng. Jack Muthamia. His technical expertise and leadership have been critical in ensuring the successful implementation of these projects. We are confident that with the newly appointed Chief Officer for water, Mr. George Kimathi, we will continue to make significant progress in achieving our mission of ensuring access to clean and safe water for all.
