H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza demonstrated unwavering support for agricultural development in the region by allocating valuable resources to the Amwathi sorghum model village. In a commendable move, the governor issued 2 tractors, 4 motorized sprayers, and 2 shallow weeders, empowering the 400-member community to enhance their farming capabilities. Additionally, Governor Mwangaza exhibited a commitment to grassroots initiatives by disbursing a Ksh2,749,000 cheque to 11 deserving groups in Igembe North.
