H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza presided over the issuance of Toggenburg dairy goats to 10 groups at Kiraone in Athiru Gaiti ward, Igembe South Sub-County under the Emergency Locust Response Project (ELRP).

Comprehensive beneficiary support was accorded through provision of bags of dairy meal, vaccine doses, acaricides, mineral blocks, dewormers, burdizzos, and hoof trimmers. Akin to capacitating local farmers, the area Youth received a car wash machine and a water storage tank.
