On behalf of H.E Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza, Health Services CECM Dr. George Gikunda Mungania officiated the dispensation of 6,818 CHP Kits equipping all 3,716 Community Health Promoters. The kits contain basic health screening equipment, drugs and a myriad of supplies set to be used in service provision at the household level.

The kits will be distributed to all the Sub-Counties, further enhancing primary health care to all Meru residents. The consignment was delivered courtesy of the County Government of Meru, Ministry of Health and Community Health Services.

Also in attendance were ; Chief Officer Health Dr. Joseph Wahome, County Community Health Strategy Coordinator Benjamin Kobia, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Munene Samaritan and county officers.
