With great fulfilment, Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza presided over the inauguration of Kenya Devolution Support Program (KDSP II) in Meru County, whose intent is to support capacity building and technical assistance at the County level. KDSP II is focused on key result areas; Public Financial Management, Human Resources and Performance Management, Devolution and Inter-Governmental Relations, Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation and Civic Education and Public Participation.

The successful execution of the program will immensely benefit our County through innumerable initiatives including performance-based conditional grants. The County Program Steering Committee, County Program Technical Committee and County Implementation Unit, will ensure the set conditions are met in order to bring the program to fruition, exploit the advantages and highly reap the benefits.
