Sports Development: In a bid to nurture local talent and promote healthy lifestyles, Governor Mwangaza oversaw the distribution of sporting equipment to 24 football and volleyball teams from Muthara ward in Tigania East Sub-County. This initiative not only empowers aspiring athletes but also fosters a sense of community pride and unity.

Empowering Self Help Groups and Community Based Organizations (CBOs): Recognizing the importance of economic empowerment at the grassroots level, 6 Self Help Groups and Community Based Organizations received 100-seater capacity tents and chairs. These resources are poised to enhance their income generation efforts, thereby contributing to the overall socio-economic development of the region.

Improving Primary Healthcare: Underscoring her administration's commitment to accessible healthcare, Governor Mwangaza facilitated the distribution of 240 Community Health Promoter (CHP) replacer kits. These kits, a part of the larger distribution encompassing 6,818 kits across all Sub-counties in Meru County, equip CHPs with essential tools, medicines, and supplies. By enabling basic healthcare services at the household level, this initiative aims to enhance the well-being of residents.

Supporting Vocational Education: In line with efforts to bolster vocational education, Governor Mwangaza provided 6 electric industrial sewing machines to both Amugaa Vocational Training Center (VTC) in Thangatha ward and Athwana Vocational Training Center (VTC) in Mikinduri ward. This investment not only equips learners with valuable skills but also contributes to the growth of local industries and economies.
