Under the visionary leadership of Governor Kawira Mwangaza, Ruiri Rwarera ward in Buuri East Sub-County is experiencing a significant boost in sports and community development. Today, 31 football teams and 8 volleyball teams were generously provided with sporting uniforms and balls, courtesy of Governor Kawira Mwangaza administration. Additionally, 9 dart teams from the same ward received dart boards, setting the stage for engaging youth in constructive activities and nurturing talent within the community.

Recognizing the importance of agricultural revitalization, Governor Mwangaza's administration, through the Emergency Locust Response Project (ELRP), has allocated cheques totaling Ksh2,499,000 to 10 groups. This funding aims to invigorate the improved indigenous chicken value chain, empowering local farmers and enhancing food security in the region.

Furthermore, the administration has taken proactive steps to strengthen healthcare services at the grassroots level. Community Health Promoters (CHPs) have been equipped with replacer kits, enabling them to continue delivering essential healthcare services directly to households. This initiative underscores Governor Mwangaza's commitment to ensuring access to quality healthcare for all residents.
