To culminate disbursement of the Ksh20 million Meru County Scholarship Fund, Governor Kawira Mwangaza distributed cheques worth Ksh2 million to 100 beneficiaries from all wards in Buuri East, and Buuri West Sub-counties. Secondary school students received Ksh10,000 each, while college and university students received Ksh30,000 each in scholarships. This support is supplementary to recently disbursed bursaries and will continue until these students complete their education. To enhance instruction of Motor Vehicle Technology and support curriculum implementation at Vocational Training Centers (VTCs), we provided engines to Kiirua VTC in Kiirua/Naari ward and Ruibi VTC in Kibirichia ward.
