County Secretary Dr. Kiambi Atheru Welcomes World Bank Team To Assess Progress Of Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP).

County Secretary and Head of Public Service, Dr. Kiambi Atheru, representing H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza, welcomed a team from World Bank to the county to assess the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP). The project, has made significant strides in enhancing living conditions in informal settlements, gaining recognition from the World Bank for its progress.

With 25% of the project now completed ahead of the anticipated 24%, the focus on inclusivity, particularly in expanding water connections, remains central to its implementation. Project leaders express gratitude to the community for their continued support.

Collaboration between the County Government, contractors, and the World Bank has been crucial in maintaining momentum and ensuring timely progress.
