On behalf of H.E. Governor Mutuma M’Ethingia, H.E. the Deputy Governor, Lindah Kiome Gitonga, laid the foundation stone for the Mati-Andui Vocational Training Centre (VTC) in Igembe East Ward.

The initiative aligns with H.E. Governor Mutuma M’Ethingia’s broader vision of tackling unemployment across Meru County through strategic investment in skills development.

Through the expansion and strengthening of vocational training centres, the County Government remains committed to equipping young people with practical, hands-on skills that will empower them to start their own businesses and create employment opportunities for others, fostering sustainable economic growth across the county.
