The MERU business leaders and professionals met on 08/05/2015 in Nairobi. It was not only a follow up to a MERU rising forum held in 2013 that contributed heavily into the County Integrated Development Plan, but a build up towards the Meru International Investors Conference to be held between 25th and 27th June 2015 at Kenya Methodist University.

The County Executive Committee member in charge of Lands, ICT and Planning Mr Martin Bikuri presented an elaborate journey, steps and projects undertaken so far. In the presentation great and bankable investment opportunities were highlighted.

In the above investment opportunity, the plans are already completed and the governor committed 200 million to start off. Other investors (individuals and corporates) have made commitments to realize this project. Investments into the project are through the MERU Investment Corporation.
