By Mutugi Seth, Meru, 26 June 2015 - His Excellency Governor Peter Munya, chairman of the Council of Governors has officially closed the Meru International Investment Conference. Governor Munya said the government is committed to improving the investment climate in the county to enhance the position of the county as a premier investment destination.

In his remarks marking the end of the conference, Governor Munya reiterated his commitment to create an enabling investment environment in the county. A high profile discussion between the participants and government officials crowned the conference. The two-day event made proposals for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives in various sectors.The conference is part of a broader county policy to attract investment into Meru County.
