Meru Governor Peter Munya unveiled garbage trucks, water trucks and a exhauster on Monday.
Addressing Meru town residents during the flagging off of the new trucks at Tusky's parking lot in Meru, Munya said the county is on an onward march to achieving a clean and green county.

‘' We want to make our towns clean, and this will be done by increasing the fleet to transport solid waste,'' said Munya.
County Executive Committee Member for Environment said the purchase of new trucks was meant to scale up garbage collection with the towns within the county.
