Over the weekend, Governor Peter Munya opened numerous health care facilities namely Sirimon and Ntumburi Dispensaries in Buuri, Luciuti and Leeta Dispensaries in Igembe North, Thuuru Dispensary in Igembe Central and Amugaa and Lailuba inTigania East.The opening of the fully equipped facilities will ease the pain the patients undergo while trying to get treatment when they fall ill.

''Over the past two years, we have made tremendous progress in improving heathcare standards in our great county. My Government will continue to advance the interests of the society that include the delivery of high - quality and affordable health care.'' he said

Governor Peter Munya. Chair Council of Governors vowed to continue improving health care delivery in all corners of Meru County despite his government having limited resources.
