Governor Kiraitu Murungi on Tuesday morning commissioned a key road that will accelerate economic growth and reduce traffic jams in Meru town. The road which runs from Gitimbine NCPB depot through Majengo to Meru Sports Club will be upgraded to cabro standards. Speaking after the launch in Gitimbine, Governor Kiraitu said motorists will spend less time when getting in and out of Meru town. The Governor instructed the contractor to ensure the youth from area get jobs during the road construction.
