County Extend Partnership To Boost Small To Mid Size Enterprises Development.

The county government will continue embracing partnerships aimed at supporting Small to Mid-size Enterprises (SMEs) development in Meru.
Officiating the launch of absa bank Meru, formerly barclays bank, Chief of Staff Gideon Kimathi said the government is encouraging young businesses for youth and women through a series entrepreneurial trainings partnerships.
He asked residents to take advantage of the county microfinance, trade department, Meru youth programs and Meru Twaweza women empowerment programs which he said will seek to extend partnership with the absa bank and other development partners in improving the municipality and boost Enterprise development across the county.
The bank according to Head of SME Caroline, Onyango, comes handy with good products like unsecured loans of up to Ksh. 10 million, asset financing, mortgage facilities, LPO financing to name but a few.
Present also, Municipal Manager, Silas Muguna said the government is working hard to create more conducive business operating environment.
