The county government is in this financial year set to build more on youth energy and vitality in promoting radical transformation of the society.

According to governor Kiraitu, the youth carries endless possibilities and creativity that are worth developing, inorder to address the national youth question.

While he received Meru Youth Service (MYS) pioneer trainees' trade tools donation from KCB Foundation, the governor stated his government has lots of transformational plans intended to help shape the County's youth landscape this financial year.

With the help of a 10 member, MYS Board he (Governor) inaugurated today, the county administration will work to develop tailor-made solutions for the problems largely affecting youth across the county.

This will work through outfit programs like "Youth In Agriculture," and also promote 'Kazi Mitaani Program' in line with the national government's agenda.

The board will be chaired by Dr. Paul Bundi, formerly the MYS steering committee chair.
