An administrative sub-county of Meru. It’s also a parliamentary constituency. South Imenti constituency has the highest number of registered voters in the county comprising 16.4 per cent.

• Kanyakine cold storage fish factory.
• Providing South Imenti with Mini Fish feed processing machines
• To provide Igembe North with a refrigerated truck and cooler boxes to avoid losses during harvesting of fishes
• A hatchery for warm fish fingerings
