Less than a week after the ground-breaking of the Machaka Social Hall borehole, the Water and Irrigation Department is glad to announce they have hit the water table and are working on casing the high water pressure borehole.
The Machaka Socialhall borehole marks the 8th successful borehole sunk in the past 30 days by the Department, highlighting the commitment to deliver on Her Excellency's water agenda to the people of Meru.
Additionally, the Department is also wrapping up the test pumping of the Ruguchu Public School borehole in Subuiga so as to advise the design team on the best solar pump to install before it's handed over to the community.
