County's Health department is keen in bridging It's human resources gaps, especially after addition of over 73 dispensaries across the county, more than 20 maternities and the nearly complete male ward blocks in the Igembe and Tigania region which has no single block (male); namely in Mutuati, Kangeta and Miathene hospitals.

Through a strategic plan developed in collaboration with (IntraHealth Kenya- Human Resources for Health), the County's CECM Health Mishack Mutuma said the plan would enable the government to identify areas of priority in the staffing of Health workers.

Also present was Country Director Intrahealth Kenya, Dr. Janet Muriuki who emphasized that the document was key in understanding human resources processes, that embraces dialogue in taming industrial unrest in the sector.
